It might seem simple enough to go out and buy an outdoor furniture cushion for some of the items you have in your backyard, and for the most part it is. However, you do have to make some considerations before and after you have made your purchase.
You may be thinking about what style you want, and that should be a consideration. You do have other thoughts though, and those should be about durability and stability. Waterproof cushions are common, but you have to worry about more than just that when buying something for your backyard.
You do want something in an outdoor furniture cushion that is waterproof, as you may have guessed. Though the type that are not will dry out soon enough, you might be surprised at how long it really takes. It could be sunny for days on end and you could still sit down on an outdoor furniture cushion that is not completely dried out.
That is a nasty surprise for you, and also for anyone who may be visiting your home. Make sure the tag says waterproof. Remember that water resistant is different than waterproof, as you may run into those as well.
